More on Biopulsar Reflexograph

I'm finally getting around to doing a follow up on my early post. To better explain what MY picture explained and what the colors mean. So once again here is what my picture looked like up top. Just a reminder that should you live in Nova Scotia and are traveling through the Valley and care to have this done, go to The Mystic Meadow

Now, to explain the colors and some that even I don't have in my picture but could show up in one.

Red is the color of vitality and physical health. The energy is active, dynamic and creates movement. A "red" person will show feelings of power & strong willpower, dark red is misused passion & aggression. Passion and life instincts are strong with this color.

Orange color energy combines thought & creativity. It is known as mental artist energy and an emotion sensing energy. On the negative it can show irresponsibility for your own life, distrust, jealousy and envy.

Yellow energy speaks of intelligence & mental strength. "Yellow" people are thoughtful. Lite yellow shows happiness for life and a positive attitude. A strong yellow-brown color shows willpower and egoism.

Green represents harmony & balance. It shows a love of nature, friendship, sympathy and love itself. Dark green shows lack of ability to change oneself & dependence on materialism.

Blue relfects inner calm, trust, sense of responsibility & leadership qualities. Lite blue means religious belief & humility. Dull / dark blue can show rigidity in one's life.

Indigo represents inner belief on a very high spiritual level,a s well as the ability to transfer knowledge from unconscious mind. A deep black indigo color reflects strong fears & insecurities and even possible depression.

Violet energy shows artist ability, spiritual inspiration& understanding. Dark violet shows selfishness instead of good intent. The violet color can also mean that one avoids confrontations & is searching for magical & mysterious solutions.

White means contact with higher consciousness. It shows that a person has the ability to focus or concentrate their energy around their body. One the other hand, white can also mean stress, tension, & trying to escape from oneself & life.

Pink shows universal love, unselfish thoughts, humanitarianism, & cosmic energy - "higher service"

Turquoise combines blue & green energies. On the masculine side, people communicate heart to heart, on the feminine, they wish to explain what is on their minds.

*Please note that these have been paraphrased from Color Energy

So if we go back and look at my picture we'll see alot of yellow in mine. I was very happy and about learning more about this technology!! Lots of green, harmony and balance, and the fact that I was spending time with a very good friend - makes perfect sense. Pink love, higher thinking. Red vitality and physical health. Blues reflection of trust - I'm claiming that because I sure as heck wasn't calm I was too excited to learn about this!! And note all the Indigo and Violet around my crown chakra - showing that I'm more connected to the Divine than I thought.

Another thing that this technology does is measure the typical range of activity for a chakra and it has been averaged out to be between 40-65%. If a chakra point is registering above or below these ranges than there may be over/under activity in one or more of those reflex zones. The optimum level to have in each chakra zone is in the 60 -65 range, which then reflects strong chakra power and good energy flow.

Each chakra is then broken down into what gland/organ that it covers/governs and what percentages they range in. Overall when I had this done and saw the screen, I admit that my Root chakra was only running at about 50, where as the rest of them were 62 -68 range. I did have one other problem zone in my Throat chakra that I got shown - in my neck and throat. This was easily explain because I was getting over a cold and my shoulders were stiff! So overall the findings were very good.

I would be extremely interested in seeing what my picture would look like on a different day to compare it to having it first done. Our energies are always changing. This technology is amazing in how it can show us where we may need to make improvements in our lives. This is certainly something that I will be making an effort to learn more about and as I learn more I will be sure to share it with all of you!

Thank you for taking the time to read my eclectic musing today!

A Lesson in Oxidizing

Well, yesterday I thought I would try my hand at oxidizing a few of the new wire wrapped pieces that I had done. Sounds fairly easy right? Ha! Ok, I started with going with what a fellow artisan had suggested how to oxidize by using the hard boiled egg method. No problem, hard boil some eggs, crush them up and place my pieces on top, seal and wait. Sounds rather simple yes?

I get a container out that will fit the pieces I want to oxidize and decide why not just boil the eggs I'm going to use in the container in the microwave? Can you picture what happened? Has your imagination start to run? Are you giggling yet? Well, it would have been been simple but what I forgot to take into consideration was that I had just gotten a new microwave that was almost 400 watts hotter that my old one. So I put them in for what I used to put them into for in the old microwave and walked away to sit at the computer in the kitchen.

I'm sitting there, playing and chatting on Etsy and all I hear is this loud pop. My dog starts barking and takes off for her favorite hiding spot. I rush to the microwave to turn it off. Luckily only one egg blew up and it was hard boiled when it did. So the mess was sort of contained and not nearly as bad. I drained the rest of the water, scooped the mess back into the container and off to work I went to try my hand at this.

In the end only the wire I wrapped the pieces with started to darken because I use stainless steel for the frame work but it did gave a very subtle antique look.

So in the end, the lesson learned here is don't forgot the settings on your microwave and two don't be a slacker and hard boil your eggs the old fashion way on the stove! ☺

Stop, Breathe, Listen

Stop, Breathe, Listen

Great advice if only I could learn to take it more myself. I often find myself saying this to the kids that I work with to try and get them to stop and rationally think things through but do I take my own advice? Not all the time. Not when it comes to listening to my intuition or things that have been staring me in the face.

I admit to ignoring things by times, thinking that I'll get back to it and things will finally come together. But life intrudes of course as it always does and things slide to the side. What am I getting at? For me right now this saying means that I need to stop, relax, and finally sit down and listen to the story in my head that needs to get written. I've been having reoccurring dreams for weeks now and haven't been bothered to write. That's me being a DA.

You'd think I'd know better by now that if I have a dream more than once I need to put pen to paper and write it out of my head so I can move on. Well, I haven't. But now I'm not sleeping as well because of it, so tomorrow I am determined to finally take my own advice and to STOP, BREATHE, LISTEN and then write till there is no more to tell.

You may also ask what is it that I'm dreaming about that seems to be so important. Well, I know some is just a story I need to tell, no problem. But the last little bit well, after doing a night shift yesterday and waking up with tears, I know my dream is a prelude of possible things to come. This may sound kinda strange but I know in my gut that it's true & then when I relate back what a friend had told me during a reading I knew that what she said and what I dreamed were matching up and things were in motion to come to pass. It bothers me, not in the way you may think. Not that it bothers me that I know, I'm sadden by this because I had hoped that things had taken a different path earlier in the year but now things seemed to have veered back and I can only ask the Divine for guidance and grace that things run smoothly and will turn out ok. Not giving the reader anything to go on here makes me feel bad but since it's not all about me I don't feel right about bringing it to the cyber world to read - please forgive me.

So what is my main "musing " post here really? Reminding myself that I need to take time for ME and relaxing & let my creative side flow, to listen to my guides & follow. STOP, BREATHE, LISTEN. So in this silence I surrender & release to Mother Earth, feeling the tension drain away, calm & peace move in & things begin to re balance. sigh...time for tea.

Biopulsar Reflexograph

Biopulsar Reflexograph -You're probably wondering what the heck is that?! It's such a mouth full to even try and say it. Well, what it is, is one the of the most wicked cool things that I've tried in ages. Biopulsar Reflexograph is and I quote "The most advanced biofeedback imaging system"

I was in one of my favorite shops yesterday - The Mystic Meadow, right here in the heart of the Valley, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Last time I had been in I knew that they (Carolyn -owner & Linda) were going to be doing this but didn't have the equipment yet, well they did yesterday! Linda was gracious enough to show it to me and explain what it was all about & let me tell you I was impressed!

What happens is that your aura gets scanned & then the program reflects it back to you in a software program as colors on the screen & shows you what energies you are using right at that point in time. For those that may not know what the aura is, it is something that everyone has & it is part of us all the time. It is easiest to describe as our energy field. It can show and reflect our emotions & thoughts on a very conscious level & even on an unconscious level. There are many layers & levels to our aura but in this instant it is just studying the electro-magnetic field we all have around our bodies which are being given off and produced by our bodies chakra centers.

So what Linda did was have me put my right hand on a sensor device that measures the vibrations of energy that you are giving off from different reflex zones on your hand. The sensor reminded me off those toys you used as a kid where you put your hand on all this little pins and it pushed them out & showed the impression. Do you remember what I'm talking about? Anyway, this sensor is very similar as it has many different metal posts on it that touch reflex / acupressure points along your hand. When you do this, the information is then transferred & displayed as colors of your aura that are currently surrounding your body. What do the energies mean? It tells you what energies that you're using right then.

After the picture came up she made a still (picture) of the screen & proceeded to tell me what it all meant. All the colors in the spectrum can be explained as qualities & traits of that person. With this in mind, the professional Aura Counsellor (that would be Linda) can then tell you (or me in this case) how to use these colors & where I may need improvement & overall how to bring these energies together & put them to better use - mind and body!

If you would like to learn more, then I would highly recommend checking this out. You've probably seen products made by this company - The Colour Energy bath products? If you live in Nova Scotia, come to the Valley and go to Mystic Meadow - Carolyn and Linda are such wonderful people and everyone should check out the shop and Biopulsar Reflexograph technology. The picture I'm posting to the right of this, is my aura scan. Kinda neat isn't it?
I certainly welcome questions or comments about this. Let me know what you think.

In the Beginning...

So here it begins. Me blogging. Who would have thought?! Since I've never done this before I may be a little slow at getting things together and figuring things out. But I'm usually a quick learner.
If you wonder why I picked the title I did; well I thought it fitting. CelticCrossing was too much of a mouth full so shortening it to CC works and my writings are most likely to be very eclectic and be about whatever I may be musing about at the times. I have great hopes that my muse will be kind and make sure that things make some sense and have rhyme and reason to them.
I am a lover of crafts & at the moment my favorite thing is making jewelry and selling it on my etsy store at celticcrossing.etsy.com I've also relearned how to crochet. Relearn you may think? Well, I forgot how to do it right and so my Aunt set me strait and I've been trying my hand at it ever since this summer. I am also intuitive, I love reading oracle cards. My favorite deck at this time is The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle cards, they are absolutely amazing. But I admit I'm in the process of making my own oracle cards. I'll let you know how it goes! lol
What else do I tell you at this time? I'm a Reiki Master Teacher and know various forms of healing modalities. My favorites that I use all the time being Usui and Celtic Reiki.
I'll leave off here so as not to bore the masses with my ramblings and be back soon with more and hopefully y'all will join me!
